The 12th Annual Big Sioux Review will held on September 24, 2011 at BrandonValley High School.  Thirteen bands from South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa will participate in our competition. The Brandon Valley Marching Lynx will perform their 2011 show "American Faces" in exhibition.

Bands as a whole are judged in four areas of performance including Music Execution, Marching and Maneuvering Execution, Music General Effect, and Marching and Maneuvering GeneralEffect. The percussion and color guard sections are each rated on their performances as well.  In addition, "Caption Awards" are given in each class for outstanding winds, drumline, color guard, and drum majors.  A "Sweepstakes" trophy is awarded to the band that receives the highest total points.
