The Eighth Annual Big Sioux Review was held on September 29, 2007 at Brandon Valley High School.  Bands from South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa participated in our competition. The Brandon Valley Marching Lynx performed their 2007 show "Nightmare" in exhibition.

Bands as a whole are judged in four areas of performance including Music Execution, Marching and Maneuvering Execution, Music General Effect, and Marching and Maneuvering General Effect. The percussion and color guard sections are each be rated on their performances as well.  In addition, "Caption Awards" are given in each class for outstanding winds, drum line, color guard, and drum majors.  A "Sweepstakes" trophy is awarded to the band that receives the highest total points.
